2009 was an unprecedented year; yet even in a global downturn, these PADI Members continued to thrive. Survival Training 2010 participants will learn similar success strategies and benefit from specific, real-world examples.

Survival Training was an integral part of the business strategy for many PADI Retailers who succeeded in 2009. Anna Schmitz, owner of Emerald Coast Scuba in Destin, Florida, USA says, “We’re very impressed that PADI executives took the time and expense to spend time with us … the fact that several hours were spent with just us really shows us that [PADI] cares about our success. With the economy at its worst, I think we actually had our sights set low. However, we were encouraged to keep a positive attitude and aggressive approach to increase business. ‘We refuse to participate in the recession’ became our motto and we utilized some PADI support items - like the certification tracking wall poster and Scuba Connect Referral Cards - and they really worked! By helping us keep our divers focused on their certification goals, it helped us keep sights on our training goals - and we succeeded!”

Offered in 25 cities throughout the United States and Canada, this free program builds on the enlightening and motivational PADI program, Believe!, which was presented at DEMA Show 2009. Join PADI executives and regional managers as they share proven techniques used by 2009 Survival Training participants to help increase entry-level certifications and equipment sales. Working with their PADI Regional Managers, attendees will also develop specific goals and establish an action plan to achieving them.

The new year is filled with new opportunity: Make the most of it by establishing your game plan early so you can meet and exceed your business goals.
